High-tech multifunctional family space
The brief
Whilst the garden room was to be a multi-functional space for the whole family including a Peloton bike, our client had some very specific requirements around wi-fi connection to operate the lighting, air conditioning and IT connections.
The solution
At over 24m2 this garden room with a 6m2 integrated shed was built boundary-to-boundary on three elevations with SIP panels. The SIP panels highly efficient insulation together with the air conditioning unit make it the perfect extra space all year round.
Paradisi laid armoured electrical power cable down the length of the garden along with triple CAT 6 cable to enable high-specification internet connection to the garden room. Our client wanted everything to be managed from his mobile phone! The downlights have RGB LED bulbs and each one can be individually controlled from a mobile phone meaning that each bulb can show a different colour - should the client wish.
Clad in vertical Cedar battens with bi-folding doors at the front the garden room also features a small overhang on the roof to provide additional shade for the windows and more RGB LED downlights to control.
The integrated shed provides a useful space and clever use of cedar to clad the external door give a seamless look and feel to this garden room.
